Six things everyone in Cyprus puts off

Each one is required by law or costs money if you miss it. We turned them into a clear process with a fixed price.

New in 2026

2026 personal tax return

From tax year 2026, every Cyprus tax resident aged 25–70 must file a return, even with no income. Filing moves to the new Tax For All portal.

  • We check whether you must file and your dom / non-dom status
  • We collect the data and complete the return
  • We submit it with your authorisation and send the confirmation

Cypriot banks take weeks to review new companies and often refuse incomplete files.

  • We build the file: business plan, source of funds, contracts
  • We follow it through to an open account

Who is behind this

Copper Labs is a Limassol team that sets up AI assistants for businesses. Our founder, Sebastian, spent seven years leading client servicing at Apex Group, one of the largest corporate service providers. We are not a law firm: legal services, registered office and secretary are provided by our partners, licensed Cypriot advocates and ICPAC members.

FAQ

Common questions

Can I set up a company without coming to Cyprus?

Yes. KYC is online and the partner lawyer files the documents. Non-residents may need certified, apostilled copies; we will tell you up front.

What does a company cost per year?

Realistically €2,500–5,000: office and secretary, bookkeeping and the mandatory audit. The €350 annual levy was abolished from 2024.

What tax does a Cyprus company pay?

15 % on profits from 1 January 2026. SDC on dividends is 5 % for domiciled residents and 0 % for non-doms.

Do I really have to file a return with no income?

Yes, from tax year 2026, every tax resident aged 25–70. Not sure if you are resident? We check for free.

Would self-employed registration be simpler?

Sometimes, yes: it is cheaper and faster. We compare both options in the first consultation.

Are you a law firm?

No. We run the process and prepare documents; licensed partners carry out the legal work. You sign the engagement for the legal part directly with them.
